... the Bremer Rathaus (Town Hall)

The Town Hall “Bremer Rathaus” and the Roland on the marketplace of Bremen were inscribed on the World Heritage List in July 2004. Thus UNESCO recognizes this ensemble as a "unique testimony" to civic autonomy and market rights as these developed in Europe over the centuries.
The organizers selected this unique testimony for a special social event. We will visit the “Bremer Rathaus” at Thursday evening (05. July, 07:00pm) and get a champagne reception with the ‘Senator für Bildung und Wissenschaft’ in Bremen, Mr. Willi Lemke, who is the state minister for education and research. Mr Lemke's special interest is the football club ‘Werder Bremen’, whose very successfully manager he was for a long time.
